Before the book came out and all that I always thought Pone and Nore were very tight with Mobb Deep. But after reading, they didn't fukk with Nore at 1st and they didn't for a long time. And apparently, they never really fukked with Pone at all.

But yeah, good interview. After reading P's book you look at them and their music in a different light.

Them who, CNN or IMD?

IMD.

I look at CNN in the same light more or less. Like even though P claims Capone was a snitch, we don't really know exactly the story there, even P said he wasn't 100% sure.

And Nore getting stomped the fukk out was funny too. Over shooting the other guy in the leg by mistake.

I always liked Nore though. As a rapper and he's just a funny dude in general.

They keep asking P the same shyt every time he's on there (the book, the summerjam pictures etc) no wonder he was angry
this I get why Talib won't be doing interviews, they still asking about that jay z shout out in the black album :dwillhuh: that was 10 years ago

Nah that's actually an old saying. It's not insinuating they was lying, it's moreso just saying that everyone perspective will be different.

Capone pretty much confirmed that story. He twisted it a little to try to save face but Pee was tellin the truth

Yeah, I saw the interviews when they 1st came out. Pone was upset about being labelled a snitch, saying he was just giving fake info, to throw them off. That he was already locked up for another crime.

I don't often watch these interviews, but from what I read, Angela Yee is the weak link. She was asking some of the questions that brought on the best answers in this interview. Disappointed the whole Twitter situation wasn't even addressed ... you supposed to be going into the Lion's Den with the Breakfast Club.

Oh well, dope interview nonetheless.

lol she's far from the weak link. Her technique of asking leading questions is way better than Charlamagne's. A lot of these artists don't even take Charlamagne's questions seriously, they know he's just trying to get a rise out of them. She's somewhat annoying to listen to imo, but still very good at what she does.
Also I don't think they want that "Lion's Den" reputation, some artists still have integrity and ain't cool with interviewers coming at them any type of way. They could get skipped over on a big name artists press run if they are constantly trying to call everyone to the carpet. That's not something they want to happen because it will cause them to lose ratings.

Envy's definitely the weak link. He always harping on some dumb ass shyt and ends up getting checked by damn near anybody that comes up there.
