The GOAT producer Hav did Midnight Creep

Back when Al was cooking up on the ASR-10No doubt. This was a dope vinyl. Originally 1st Infantry was gonna be a crew with Al, Ev, P, Hav and Twins. Then it ended up being what we all know it as.
I got this vinyl at college radio pretty hyped. I remember being surprised that Hav did Midnight Creep because Al was using a lot of horn samples at the time.
That mid 00's Jive era Mobb Deep (basically from Free Agents through up until G-Unit/Blood Money) is where I'm pretty sure Al and Hav were making a lot of beats together and had a lot of similar sounding joints. Both before and after that 2003-2005 era they had more signature sounds, but during that Jive era a lot of their sounds blended together.
I think people were glad it wasn’t Infamy. The first disc was aight. Had a few bangers but nothing special.
The bonus disc was crazy though.
I think people were glad it wasn’t Infamy.
but in hindsight I think the hate towards infamy was a little bit overinflated just because of such a drastic change in P’s style combined with him being sick when recording a good portion of it.
and cats really hated that 112 record
I fukked with Infamy too but that Takeover diss had P hot, it seemed like every bar was a Jay subInfamy was actually fire. Prodigy wasnt lyrical on it but song for song it was dope
