Not a fair comparison between the 2, and I'm a fan of both franchises.

Gundam series are more intelligent for sure, very deep, underlying social commentary on war, politics, genetic engineering/transhumanism, hate, fear.

Especially Gundam Seed and the sequel Destiny.

I need to rewatch it now that I'm an adult I barely understood it as a kid.

the Seed series are considered some of the worst in the entire franchise.

Speaking of...I'm currently watching G Gundam for the 3rd time. Now that I'm older, I can finally understand it from a mature point of view.
