He's not a fucc boi... not at all

I worked at a major wingspot in miami as a younger man... he's right, dude is lucky is not a Friday night. If you can't keep up in a kitchen like that you get the fukk out.

My boss rode my ass until I checked him one time... after that we was good. He liked the fact that if I wasn't as good as someone else at a certain thing I basically got out the way and did something else that would make shyt easier for everyone else. Admitted that he rode my ass because I was the new guy and I had to earn the time I worked because there was other nikkas (usually ex-con types) that been there longer that I was taking hours from..

Try working some shyt like that during the superbowl :wow:

Eh, Henry has that Civil rights we shall overcome mentality. He believes in hard work but it's mindless hard work for other people with no real incentive for himself. Henry's mindset would be cool if it was his own business or if he got in on the ground floor of something un established because he would probably move up the ranks from within. He seems like a good manager, ,the type of guy who you will fukking hate when you first start but if you do good you and him will be cool. But a franchise like that to work so hard with no real rewards is sort of a plantation loyal to massa mindset. This dude got a promotion with no pay and still stayed when I guarantee with his experience and attitude could have gotten a much better job at a better establishment. I bet Henry don't even get benefits or PTO either.

SO Henry is a little a of both from the title. He has the right mentality and work ethic but it's pointed in the wrong direction

this is the guy 97% of the coli want to be....a black man stuck in a dead end job happy making some cac rich instead of starting a business and making real $ independently

this aint nothing to be proud of, dude wasted his life.... his wife is angry @ him because he dont see his grandkids and he had to bust his ass to get a promotion and they didnt even give him a damn raise...i know so many black ppl like this in real life...shyt is sad
I agree with this 100%.

It's like after slavery, Blacks are just content with at least gettin paid instead of providin free labor, when in all actuality, it still is free labor because them white people aren't even missin those crumbs they give us

I don't know Henry's criminal background, but that may have been of the few job he was able to get AND actually likes. Ex-cons have a really hard time finding work so that could be it. He should have definitely wrote a letter to the owners about his scratch though. fukk that. At least called them.

A lot of nikkas talking about "he could've opened his own spot" and don't even know dudes situation probably.

Most of the cats I worked with was either young ass dudes, immigrants, or ex-cons... And even still most had other side gigs or other means of making money.

I remember hanging out with a few after work.. Ended up being involved in some "deals" I didn't intend on being involved with.

Plus some of them bank off tips if you're good enough. Possibly atleast a hundred each on a GREAT night. We had celebrities that were regulars at the time. My boss had his own crib and brand new whip when I first met him.

Definitely not work I would recommend if you don't have to do it but it's still work and yes, they took it serious

Talm about he's a sellout for working that hard for a white man.. How many of you nikkas got your own business again? You got to learn to follow before you can lead and everything dude was saying in that video is the shyt I heard when I was working in a kitchen that probably got more business than them and was half the size. He wasn't saying shyt new to me at least. It actually seemed easier. A pack of 10 wings? Try grilling 50-100 at a time With 3 swoll ex-cons in a kitchen the size of a walk-in closet AND you had to make the shyt look pretty

:salute:

I don't see nothing wrong with having a good work ethic. :manny:

The man is a good leader at his job and holding down his family. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
