The characters are cornballs and not in a funny way

not as good as before in my opinion but still decent. Phil does his thing and so does ed O'Neill cuz he already a legend in the game. and of course Gloria

Show is great, maybe you had to grow up in a primarily white suburb to thoroughly enjoy it
I can see why stuff like Friends and King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond are considered great comedy shows, those (Especially the last two) are funny as hell and have me rollin.

Show has no character development whatsoever. For example, Cam and Mitchell seem like they hate each other every episode, but their arguments always tend to get resolved without there being any repercussions going into the next episode.
