fukk it i don't care. Do you think just having a bunch of black men and women playing sports for entertainment on TV is enough to feel empowered? LOL. Do you ever think that there are some black men and women who...I don't know....don't like sports and literally cannot place themselves in these positions at all? Or live vicariously through them? I don't fukk with sports period so television legit has no purpose in my life at all.

Don't like the Network shows?
There's Netflix, Hulu. Only want HBO quality content? HBO GO is essentially free. TV stations like AMC and FX are surpassing cinema in terms of production and content.

Don't wanna support the "machine" () There's ENDLESS original content on Youtube.

There's podcast, fukking recorded mp3's that have mountains of content ranging from introspective to entertaining and humor.

And music, again almost more accessible than air at this point.


But Modern media is trash.


Cut off TV and only resort to the internet, like there's not mentally repugnant trash clogging cyberspace also. nikkas think they're high and mighty just because they go from CNN to Everythingisalie.com and talk about DMT enlightenment

And of course that flip flopping poster boy for manic depressive disorder @1984 is in here pontificating his usual narcissism under the guise of moral and intellectual integrity.

Yeah, when I was young, I always watched cartoons every weekday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm. When they took that off the air, I wonder what kids nowadays watch when they don't have cable.

I agree mainstream media is deplorable. Aside from occasional news, football, and a few sci fi tv shows I hardly ever watch TV. I truly do not understand why anyone would want to pollute their mind with shows like love and hip hop , basketball wives etc. My girl watches that filth and I just go in another room while it's on.

I've thought about this continually. She has some great wife type qualities that outweigh her love for reality TV. I think she'll have to come to her own realization that it's poison. I can only preach so much
