People talk about different apocalypse scenarios but don't stop to consider that economic collapse could happen because the number of old people outnumber the amount of young healthy people. Big tech and government(through its total failure to regulate tech and finance) are creating a situation where men feel like attracting women is impossible and women would rather share the top 20% of men in their youth than commit to a man they think is beneath them. While at the same time men are using stuff like only fans and twitch streams to interact with women and literally connecting with A.I. more easily than an actual human being.
You're manufacturing a recipe for continued population decline. Especially when you're doing the bare minimum to fight climate change and raise living standards so young people can afford a home, Healthcare and child care.
So you'll have a situation where it's a bunch of old people walking around straining the health care system, young people who are living in their parents homes just waiting for them to die, or else living like prisoners in bachelor apartments 2 or 3 to a space. They can't even do outdoor jobs anymore because the heat is now so high Mf can't breathe when they step outside and all they have left for human connection other than their roommates is their a.i. "girlfriend".
In a lot of countries what I've just described is reality. Especially China and India where men outnumber women in some places 3-1. It's going to spread here if nothing is done about this. Pretty soon you might find yourself driving through towns where it's just all old men living there with a few women here and there.
