Dog, you scared me I read the first sentence and I thought there were going to say he passed away :to:

I used to be a Moka Only fan boy.

I gotta salute @IronFist for this thread. I almost sure that I've read through it before but don't really post here about Moka Only anymore. I stick to reading Torcharoons.com because many of the threads don't have any actual discussion, just cats begging for links. I'm sure that I'd take the crown as the Coli's biggest Moka Only fan. Everything that has a CD, I own plus some merch (shirts & a coffee cup and some promo copies for digital only releases.)

Moka is one of the most unique cats that I've ever heard of. I love his production the most especially when he tosses in those spectacular coda(s) on his songs. He lyrics are so cryptic but it great when you finally figure out what the hell he's talking about. Ron Contour is wild as well. Longmile Buggedness, Summer of Ron and Saffron are among the top Ron albums. His work ethic and rate of production must be wild for a label to work with but Urbnet and Legendary have held him down heavy.

His latest albums have been dope as hell.

Bridges: Dope ass album. Really feeling the production from Ayatollah. I heard that the beats were old but there were all new to me. I'm Not A Menace is a classic record. They are supposed to be working on another album together.

Airport 6: Sad to see one of my favorite series of Moka's end. Sleeping Dogs is such a good song. It's definitely different from 1-4 and 5 but a fitting end to the series. It also had some really good remixes to songs in particular the Like That Muneshine RMX.

Martian XMAS 2012: One of my favorites since the 2007 version. It really had the old school essence and the beats were amazing on this one. Very enjoyable.

Doctor Do-Much: Didn't like this one. The production was off and that is a rare misstep for Moka who excels in this area. There are a couple of songs I liked but this one is a miss for me.

Mutant: Much better than DDM. Too bad it was only 10 songs as I liked where he took it. Just different enough while keeping what I like intact.

Martian XMAS 2013: Still have to listen to this one and get into it. I do like all of the King of the Hill samples and Jon Rogers is pretty dope.

Sex, Money, Moka: This album feels like the spiritual successor to the Airport series. This is the total package and one of his better recent albums.

Spacesuits: Jules Chaz makes incredible beats and this album has them in spades. I'm very impressed by LMNO on this album. Mr. Brady is clutch and Moka always rides but Jules' music stole the show. I wonder if they will let the instrumentals fly because they are amazing. Especially Float, Contact, Rockabye and Speedy. Still listening and getting familiar with this one.

The Bug Out EP: It was cool but could have been better. Mr. Brady & Moka usually come way more correct than this EP shows.

Sinus EP: Excellent EP and straight up makes me want another Nope LP ASAP. It may be in the works but you didn't hear that from me.

Soundcloud Loosies: He's put up some great material that could be on any number of his albums. Too bad he has deleted many of them including the instrumentals that he used to have there before he started uploading the newer tracks. Too bad I made sure to download them beforehand as well.
