Moments where you were legit scared for your life?

When I was 5 years old I was at the house of an old lady who was babysitting me. A guy comes in, her adult son. He stinks like alcohol, his eyes are red. He asks me if I like dogs. He took me upstairs and out to the balcony, he told me to look at the dogs. I looked down at the yard and there were no dogs. I get this scared feeling like a fight or flight response and run back into the house.

He runs after me and grabs me by my legs, he tells me he is going to feed me to the dogs. He tries to pull me back out of the doorway to the balcony, but I'm holding on to a hole in the door where the doorknob used to be. He's yelling saying he's going to throw me down there so they can eat, that his dogs are hungry. I'm guessing he was high out of his mind. I cried and screamed until eventually some brave neighbors hopped the fence to the backyard and came running up the stairs to the balcony, and they fought him and held him down and called police. My fingers were bleeding from holding on to the hole in the door.

The guy is doing life in prison because he was wanted for many crimes including a murder in another state. The old lady was arrested on gun and drug charges. She looked so nice you'd never have guessed.

My fingers are still scarred from the incident.

I was naive and let my ex set me up.

Told me she needed to talk to me post-breakup , so I leave my aparment to meet her outside and walk while we talk.
Took me to an empty street ( no buildings ) near me , and her man sneaked behind me and stabbed me on my shoulder/back. We start fighting ,
then his man also comes behind me and pulls me to the ground. Ex's man is on top of me , pointing the knife to my stomach as I hold a serrated blade back with my bare hands while his man is kicking me on the face.

I yelled help , and then they got away in a get-away car. Called the police , they got arrested but nothing came out of it.
I think they moved out of the state after that.


I've had other moments but that was the most intense.

Happened to me when I driving through Atlanta in the middle of the night. I was the only one freeway and I was moving. I was coming up on a car that didn’t have any lights on. Then I was like why the fukk is it driving so slow? It was at the last second that I realized that it was stalled in the middle lane with no flashers or nothing. I was like who the fukk just leaves their shyt smack dab in the middle of the highway?

So many but this will always stand out. Aight this Gym I go to a young lady she would always go out of her way to talk to me. I never engaged much with her she would just yap away,I would nod keep it moving. One day im leaving thru the lobby of the gym .An older man yells out "young man" ,I see the young lady with him im like he comes up to me. "This is my daughter,she told me you are making unwanted physical advances towards her" in those exact words. Im like you talking about. Whole time we going back and forth,hes within my space and I knew this could be a fight so i was prepared .Her father was like "if I ever see you again it will be an even bigger problem".Dude was literally going off on me,crashing out and when I walked away she was holding him back. I call gym manager ,basically told him situation he was aware. Before any reports could be filed they reviewed all footage of our interactions . Somehow someway they saw there was no interaction and definetely nothing physical . Father and his daughter basically wanted to move on etc. and how this was misunderstanding. Only seen her there 1 more time after that and her father is a member .

I was in situations even before this story was way crazier/almost died but I was too stupid to be scared I
didn't care what happened to me before I was like 13 so those don't count cause I legit had zero fear

Had 'beef' with a grown ass man who was a boxer/drug dealer when I was in 8th grade...dummy shyt

Long story short he basically put the fear of god in me but let me live.....but I did something (taking that to the grave)
that if he knew about I know he wouldn't have.....

I chilled ALL the way the fukk out after that I was a good ass kid in 9/10th grade changed my whole friend group

which ended up saving my life cause my little crew I ran around with in JHS is either strung out, in jail or dead

Took a ride in a mini bus and the entire ride had a bunch of drunk teenagers with knives riling up passengers ...dude was taking to me about slitting my throat, trying to get me to react.
Ended up getting off way early.

Got stuck in an very tiny elevator with 3 people, that was meant to hold, at best, maybe two people. It felt like I was going to suffocate to death without even being able to sit or move.

hmm, most recent one I can think is when it started pretty quickly and heavily here in NEOH and the snowplows weren't out yet, I have a AWD SUV but still have all season tires, I was only going about 20mph around a curve when I thought I was going to collide with another car, wasn't enough of a speed to impact, but I would be at fault and my insurance would take a hit. Miraclely like a rally car driver or an extra in the fast and the furious and I drifted around the car.

Driving thru a legit blizzard in a RWD BMW, knowing if I stop I’m gonna get stuck and snowed in, middle of the night, got lucky and got behind a snow plow crew, that led me all the way to my exit. Car was fishtailing all over lucky I was whipping that shyt like a snowmobile.


Fully loaded rig driving up to Massachusetts hit black ice and slid a lane over towards the woods. If I would have pressed the brake we would have crashed, had to ride it out and let off the gas and let the engine brake. Split second decision.

Dumb ass dusty nikkas shooting up parties twice.

Walking out the strip club in Irvington 2am with the baddest stripper in the club and hating ass nikkas said some slick shyt and I heard the click clack. Just kept walking with the bytch to the car double time.

Started hallucinating the beams of light from the highway lights as power lines connecting to my car as I passed them. I said to myself "I'm hallucinating "

When I was molested by 5th Grade Teacher Mrs. Delveaux. She had carried a hook knife in her purse and made me stay after class for discipline. She told my mama she would drop me off at home and did. But when it was late around about 4-5 ish the only people in the school was the janitors. She just started yelling at me and grabbed me by neck and forced my face into her breasts. When I tried to pull away she grabbed the hook knife and held it against my throat and demanded I take my under and jeans off. I was a touched and violated and it was the last day of school before summer break. I never looked at woman the same since and I love being abused by women especially older black women with hefty chests. Another reason why I don't want kids, you can protect them from assault only can get them justice, but justice doesn't cure PTSD and unlock a fetish in them.

I'll never forget I was driving back to campus from work. A crazy storm rolled through Houston. The highway had debris everywhere. The clouds looked crazy then it got eerie quite and still. Long story short, there was a tornado nearby wrecking havoc.

My heart was beating heart AF.
The entire drive through the storm, I was like why TF didn't I just stay at the store.
