Completely unnecessary.

It’s been terribly written too. This fell off a cliff the last two episodes and this was even worse than the third. They really didn’t have a second of the past crew in this one.

To me the hook is the conspiracy on what is on the files, what Monarch is hiding and is the father still alive
I feel like maybe we will be let down on how or if it wraps up
