I feel like they nailed the emotional reunions, particularly Mari Yamamoto as Keiko. She's great in this and was great in Pachinko.

Overall still think the show suffers greatly from all the Bureaucracy bullshyt with Monarch and the interpersonal family drama, which I'm not sure added much to the show. I think it would have benefited greatly from just being a more fun, adventure series or injecting in more humor. There's a version of this show which is just a period piece with the 3 adults traveling around the globe and tracking different Titans, that I feel I would have enjoyed more.

I would have liked it more, if it just focused on the 1950s crew and the origins of Monarch with them traveling and researching a different monster each episode.

Great series and the proof is in the renewal. Looks like they're trying to explain a lot and cover many different personalities in one season. Will definitely watch season 2
