It does suck that Drew McIntyre won the WWE Championship at the WWE Performance Center in front of an empty arena but I think it'll help his title reign in the long run. It's much better seeing him act how he has since winning against Lesnar. Watching him pander to the crowd during the build up was corny as hell.
