WWE Q4 2016 earnings report released, record revenue in 2016 - Wrestling News and Results, WWE News, TNA News, ROH News

Don't appeal to casuals brehs

Wasn't Goldberg on the show?

And didn't Lesnar show up in the dark main event? :skip:

-Reportedly Smackdown Tickets were on sale for half the price of Raw and before the show aired the tickets were free

Meltzer been saying that this era is worst than the territory era for attendance figures but cats on other forums always crying that he's being bias.

I think the confusion is that revenue is not necessarily correlated with attendance. They're doing well financially because of some solid revenue streams (ie: ad revenue with the additional 3rd hour)

but attendance can still be the shyts, which it appears to be

Raw has a few shining moments here and there, but then they still have 2 hours and 45 minutes to fill after that. Compared to Smackdown the show is just complete ass. It hasn't been close since day one of the split.

But then again maybe it's not a bad thing..Raw feels like the "corporate" show that the majority of shareholders and soccer moms approve of. Smackdown feels like the adult show that the majority of the fan base approves of.

They waste so much talent. New Day is being wasted, Rusev is in a stupid storyline, Cesaro and Sheamus are still in a pointless tag team, Emma and Alicia Fox don't have any direction, and the list goes on.
