I call BS. Money opens up options and possibilities that aren’t present until you have money. He ain’t lying.
Life moves so fast & we’re all programmed to go with the flow, especially with hyper-capitalism. However, once you take a break & a step back to re-examine things - you’d see that almost everything we lust/chase after, including money, is overrated.
But bills gotta be paid & everything cost money. So, you have to go with the flow.
Dame is in a position to say that & if you have ever made real money - you’d notice that it’s nothing tbh. It’s just another accessory & ain’t nothing changed.
The problem is it might be 1000 interviews too late. He’s conditioned us to expect to hear him saying said “yelling and catchphrases”. You think we click a Dame Dash video to hear practicality and sense? It’d be like if Charleston White started embracing gang bangers or Umar putting white coochie over consciousness. If he doing that like Kanye said I’m going have to start watching his interviews in fast forwards. This was actually the most mature dame interview I've ever seen in my life. But because he's not yelling and saying catchphrases, people aren't going to play it through.

People can say what they want about Dame but nothing was more etherous than hearing Mr. Wonderful claim that poor Africans in poverty are doing fine because they have the same opportunity to make more money like everyone else. Shyt was beyond tone deaf. The importance of remaining humble![]()
I was just thinking about this yesterday. He ain’t lying.
