I just filed my 2019 taxes online on Friday and they said it may take up to three weeks for me to get my refund. So will I probably get my refund and this stimulus check around the same time?

maybe, I got my state refund in like 2 days and federal in 4 days. I did mine 2 weeks ago though

I love how people are bragging about how they dont need these checks and its going right in the bank or spending on something. One poster on here said this is going to his trip to London of all places at the end of the year.

Nobody cares about the less fortunate for who this 1200 dollar check wont even last a month. I dont see any donations/social movements anywhere online to help those who have been forced outta work

Possible but remember: as long as you selected direct deposit you'll be set up to receive your check. You could theoretically receive it before you receive the refund.

Also remember: this is NOT income and thus will not be applied to your 2020 taxes (next year). So your refund next year won't be impacted.

Lot of 18-24 year olds won’t even be getting it if they were claimed as dependents by their parents. Parents not even getting $500 for them either

Not if you’ve filed online taxes in 2018-2019.

It’s scary to be reminded the government has access to your checking and savings accounts and can dip in there and give and take what they want without our permission.

BUT THEY CAN'T THOUGH. YOU WILL GET A FORM TO GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO DEPOSIT THE MONEY. SAME THING HAPPENED TO THOSE WHO GOT STIMULUS CHECKS DIRECT DEPOSITED.

I work un finance. A stimulus check does not count as taxable income. It'll be applied the same way the 2001 and 2008 payments were handled.

No they are setting up a site where you can enter your direct deposit info if you haven't filed yet.

Only one of eme gave me an exact date so i just wanted to make sure they didnt already try to send it and my bank did somethin dumb
