Say what you will about Mongo's in ring work, but it seems like he's genuinely beloved by his fellow WCW wrestlers. Flair, Arn, Nash, Hall, Bischoff all had nothing but good things to say about him. Jericho said he, Mongo, Raven, and Curt Hennig used to go to the bars after events and they eventually came up with a nickname for their stable - The (Drunken) Four Horseman.

Yeah it was a great book but man as the disease progressed

Man I saw a couple of photos of him from the last few months, ALS is an evil disease

Just go look at photos of him in 2019 and he looked full of life and resonably healthy. He only got diagnosed like last year and is ravaged his body

ALS next to stage 4 any cancer might be the one I dread the most. That looks like torture in every way imaginable

The ALS isn’t eating away at his body, it’s being wheelchair-bound. Saw my father wither away too. The moment you lose your motor function it’s all downhill.
