I’m married myself but you are comparing 3 different generations..Who hurt you breh
My aunt & uncle been married for 60 years
My mom & dad 30 years
Black love![]()
I love my wife dearly but I know what time it is..
Nothing lasts forever and in this climate and era

There isn’t a stigma attached to divorce like it was 50 to 70 years ago(maybe even longer)..
Also add that people thugged it out even when men/women had whole ass families that lived across town or women were financially dependent upon men and didn’t further their education..
Content on being housewives..
Women are more educated and self sufficient now..
Also..
We have easy access to everything and many people don’t have the patience to deal with the pratfalls of relationships...
Also add that many of us(many on this very forum)have come from broken homes or came from homes where parents didn’t show open affection towards one another/to their children.
So many of us don’t have conflict resolution or even know how to show love or recognize good people..
Or..
We come from homes were parents stayed waaaaaay too long in dead marriages..
Again..
I’m not against marriage because I made the decision to marry my girl but I ain’t no fool either..
I’m not being pessimistic but I know things happen and shyt changes
