Not gon lie, it's always funny to see big women who push that "I'm a size sexy" or "skinny women are evil" shtick like Monique only to turn around and start losing weight because of health concerns.apparently she's a "slap to the face" to the plus size community,![]()
DamnI remember the fallout when she started losing the weight. Then again, she was the "Black BBW" Icon for a bit.

The most EGREGIOUS thing I read there was that Lee Daniels is making the Richard Pryor biopic.
This is less about being a c00n, and more about how you treat people...
People can deal with "diva" attitudes and whatnot, Whitney and Mariah have many people come out and say they were tough to deal with, but in the end, bringing them on brought more people (money) out and it's cool. Can't be a dikk to everybody then expect them to want you back, especially when you're replaceable.
I understand the money thing, and wanting to be paid, but to ask for bread or require it for EVERY. THING. YOU. DO is a bit much. These white execs will just tell themselves they can find another you. In every aspect doesn't matter how rich you are or poor, life is about bartering. Using what somebody else has to get what you need. Working together. Can't NOT promote a movie cuz you need payment everytime you leave the house then expect to get MORE roles. Yeah, I don't support c00ning, but I do say if you're LOOKING for approval or awards, then you have to do what THEY require you to do or you not gonna see a dime/thing...scratch my back and I'll scratch yours...
What game is there to play, I'm lost?
Not being difficult to work with, that's part of the game.
If you are a pain in the ass and no one works for you, you are not being 'blackballed' really. You put yourself in that situation.
belittle skinny people and whites in your comedy and wonder why you blackballed in HW brehs.

She didnt stab anyone in the eyeballs; she simply made a personal decision that was in her best financial interest at the time. I can understand how that set of decisions, five years ago, would have rubbed power brokers the wrong way, but a standing blackball because of it? Thats fukkin sorry.
Okay...so if you're a producer or director and you're debating on choosing her for a role --- why not ask her if she is willing to promote the movie w/o financial compensation? If she says no, then tell her you're moving on with your selection. She'll get the point eventually. But to continue to hold an unpopular but very reasonable decision against the woman after all these years, and never give her a chance, strikes as beyond petty and is no doubt just an excuse to exclude a talented woman of color.
I dont know why people around here (Im not addressing you here) would support this action being used against a black person, but then again I shouldnt be surprised by any anti-black woman sentiment around here and the coli's lust to express their hatred against said category again and again.
Countless big CAC Hollywood stars are a$$holes to work with but stay getting steady work
MoNique being a pain and people not calling her is all her doing.
Right but they make tons of money for the studio so they put up with it. It's no different than the all star who is an a$$hole but drops 30 a game. a$$holes who don't produce get waived, like Josh Smith. a$$holes who do produce, like Kobe, don't.
There is also plenty of white actors that don't get work anymore because of it as well. Randy Quad became difficult and weird on set so they let ol boy ride off into the sunset for the same reason.
Now Bill Cosby is getting black balled because people are all making sure he doesn't get work even if they don't know the allegations are all true. MoNique being a pain and people not calling her is all her doing.
