On a serious note, I'm at work now, so yall can catch up, and I'm fighting tempered monsters now for end game mats. So don't invite me to those peasant low level mob hunts anymore
Also, people do your side quest for your pet palico, it gives them more skills to be able to use while he's helping you in fights, other side quest for other people can give you different mantles and other shyt too

I hadn't been crafting in low rank (outside of weapons) to save on materials
I'm only HR 12 so I still have to catch up
After work I'll finally start crafting some High Rank gear and doing investigations/side quests

I'm still unsure if it's waaay easier - if anything it's easier because of QoL improvements like being able to aim your attacks mid animation/swing
World was my first MH game so I had a lot to learn/figure out and a lot of that knowledge carried over so low rank wasn't too difficult
I'm still in early High Rank and it's picked up in difficult (to be expected, just like World)

I didn’t play world but the difficulty ramps up significantly in high rank
Dare I say this is the best lance has ever felt for me 
Bow has a really fun loop with the wound system. You inflict a wound, shoot a tracer and then the focus attack will proc twice for more damage
I feel like once they start adding end game difficulty, monsters hp will be bloated cus the wound system giving a guaranteed stagger is a bit too good right now. And probably give moves to punish you hard if you miss the focus attack

Long sword is fukking ridiculous now lmao
Thinking of trying it out for a couple days. I mained longsword in rise and absolutely loved it but I’ve been exclusively charge blade in Wilds. The way you can link the combos with longsword now is crazy
