Why did I download this from PS Collections now I’m hooked

I started playing through with a new character again a couple weeks back. It's wild how easy things are with the defender gear. Waltzed through every monster like they were a Great Jagras. Only died twice because I put myself in a bad position: I let Vaal Hazak corner me in his den and he inflicted effluvium on me at the worst time, and Xeno Jiiva caught me with a tail slap when I was immobile from a tremor.
I'm almost eager to play through Iceborne with almost nothing for a build. Gotta get back all my decos. Just need HR 50 so I can run the Lavasioth event, but I also need a set of Safi and Aqua shot so I can run through it quicker. On my old account I think I was finishing that quest inside of 3 or 4 minutes when the wingdrake would drop me right next to it.
