Those dudes who caused terror were worshipped by aspiring brehs that want the clout of the hood dude, as well as women that gave up p*ssy for them. And the people who truly hated them were labeled "sellouts" or out of touch oldhead Civil Rights generation people. Most didnt speak up out of fear of retaliation.

I get what you saying but that wasn't the majority of the hood the breh lol.

But why even say the bolded though? Hope no one ever got caught in his crossfire but with 200 bodies between he and his bro...

What's the source? I find it hard to believe 2 Black Americans have 200 bodies between them

RIP to his victims....but they aren't labeled as human beings, according to The Coli

Why can't we say RIP to all? I'm not championing him or anything, I think his actions were horrible.

It's not like Sanyika came out the womb aspiring to be a murderer, it's all unfortunate and I feel bad for people who have to live and grow up in environments like that and I feel bad for the victims too. Life is hard, especially for black people and nobody wants to live like that, I hope they can all rest in peace.

If those 200 bodies are non-white, then yeah, he did white supremacy a MAJOR favor.

The Land That Time Forgot
TBH, a lot of people grew out of that praise phase of worshipping street legends. 20 to 30 years ago, they were living gods on their blocks and they were untouchable to any kind of criticism. Basically, until now, they were the prototypical "real" black man in America.

Now in the 'woke' era, the general black person is calling them out (rightfully) about that shyt, and even snitching on them because they have no type of respect for the neighborhood terrorists. You see it in this thread, and black folks in general are moving on from the ignorant aspects of street life.

@Wear My Dawg's Hat

I tend to look at it this way.

Pre-Crack Trade/nikkaz With Attitude times (before 1988), Black popular/youth culture was generally fairly benign. Just think of Right On!, Word Up, Ebony, Jet and who/what they featured.

RightOn_Shalamar_1982_july_small.jpeg

Post-nikkaz Wit Attitude, Ruthless, Death Row, Bad Boy, Murder Inc. etc culture of Black self-destruction and low regard, Right On and Word Up get replaced by FEDS Magazine, Don Diva, Felon, etc.

It was bye-bye to Todd Bridges, Michael, Prince and New Edition -- and hello to Frank Lucas, Alpo, Rich Porter and Monster Kody.

Unfortunately, the so-called "Hip Hop industry" from the 1990s to today (and apart from its anti-violence, pro-party NYC beginnings), disproportionately promoted "the streets" aka criminality as the "legitimate" pathway to success for young Black men. This was unprecedented for any other era of Black folk, btw. Previously Iceberg Slim tales were never treated on the level of The Cosby Show, Ebony Magazine or Tony Brown's Journal. By the mid 1990s to today it has been the opposite.

Monster Jody and his brother killed like 200 people between them

He almost killed Ice Cube back in 96, when Pac was alive,

But crazy how a legit goon, literally can live over 55 and die from some other health issue, while innocent brehs ans brehettes die minding their own business.

if that's true, fukk that nikka
