Guys his size are usually out the league around 32

Isaiah Thomas

Avery Johnson
Mark price
John Starks

Most those guys are done by 32-34

The only exception is Stockton because if his range and accurately shooting 3 pointers

How did he shoot 53% :mindblown:

That was an outlier season considering he's a career 45% shooter. Plus he was great at getting and finishing at the rim and barely took 3s :manny:

I think it was that offseson he got in the moped accident. You can see he wasn't getting as much to the rim as he used to after that.

I get that. But Klay or any other guard that is a 3rd option fg% coming close to that

FG discounts the 3 point shot that is worth points and harder to get.

If you wanna compare shooting effiency between Monta Ellis and Klay Thompson since they have a totally different styles, you would have to look a eFG

First off, as I said when we originally traded him in the thread, fukk that nikka. Ain't no love lost or had with me.
All the shyt he put curry thru after they drafted him that I would hear about from people who work in the organization was just fukked up to me and it's still crazy how most of it never truly leaked. I was even there when his bytchass came back to play the Dubs for the 1st time, my company had a suite that night, saved me dough from buying the ticket. But that said, he was embraced by the warriors crowd...i boo`d...

Monta can still "play" in the league. I dont think he has lost that much, more that he just doesnt have a place to fit right now. If its a bad team, they are rebuilding with young rookies. No contender needs him because of his lack of 3 - point shooting in a league that is dominated by that. The Cavs done sat TT down because they are buying into this 3-point shooting deal. His athleticism kept him relevant for so long. There will always be undersized 2-guards, from vets like Lou to young guns like Monk. There just isnt any place for undersized shooting guards that cant shoot.
