This is the time for fat down payments.

You never walk into a dealer and tell them what you want to pay monthly. You get the out the door price on the car and THEN put enough down to get the payment where you want it to be.

If u can't afford the car on a 36 month to 48 month term, it's not for you. Longer terms are tricky due to interest rates and ending up upside down(owing more than what the car is valued at)

I'm paying $390(gap insurance included)for a 2019 cx3 but it's for 7 years :old:

Granted Id like to think I'm an exception, because I was not planning on buying a car at all. Go blame the idiots who keep rear ending me and not paying attention :mjcry: and I damn sure wasn't planning on buying an old car because those are all expensive now too (10 year old camrys and civics), and I don't want to buy another car next year, would be my 5th car in 4 years lmao.

I definitely don't plan on keeping the loan passed 3-4 years though. I've been vigorous when it comes to my finances. Plan on being credit debt free by the end of the year. Maybe I'll refinance it down the road or some shyt

Damn, I'd still be driving my 2006 matrix if it weren't for you stupid ass muhfukkas

My main car is a 2012 Acura TSX. Bought it cash back in 2020 and it still doesn’t even have 44k miles on it yet. It runs really well and I get it serviced at the proper intervals. I’d love to jump into a Tesla but even with gas prices being what they are, I can’t justify getting into an EV and taking on the added cost. The idea of a car note, regardless of the cost just annoys me.

I thought I was going to have to get a new car but I got the issue fixed for a good price. I was looking for a new one but I’m just going to roll it til it can’t go no more. Also I don’t know why people think they have to buy brand new, cars are so good now that you can get a 5 year old car and still be ok.

Yeah but people like the "brand new car smell" . they want to buy brand new because they must be paranoid about how the previous owner(s) took care of it and don't want to deal with the hassle of getting it checked prior

Nowadays it's different tho. 5 year old cars are expensive now so the prices aren't justified. I've seen 2017-18 civics and Corolla goes for almost the price of a 2022 lol

It’s bad out here man. I was looking for an suv but everything high lol. I wanted something like a jeep or a Bronco but what’s the point? They’re trying to rob folks without a gun out here
