...Mookie Blaylock pleaded guilty Monday to killing a mother of five in a May 2013 crash rather than face a jury.
Blaylock was sentenced to 15 years for vehicular homicide and other charges in the death of Monica Murphy in a head-on collision in Clayton County on May 31, 2013.
According to the plea, Blaylock will serve seven years in prison followed by eight on probation. Four of the seven years will be suspended....

That means he's in for three years. Eight years on probation. He got off easy. But if he screws up after he gets out, the four years will come back to him on top of whatever he does.

There wasn't evidence that he was under the influence. I don't know why they didn't test his blood for BAC while he was at the hospital from that accident.
However, there was accident scene evidence that proved that Blaylock crossed the center line. So whether he was DUI or sober, the collision was his fault. To prove that he had blacked out or possibly blacked out before the accident was tough on the part of the defense considering Blaylock's previous history of DUI. Had his defense attempted to prove innocence was risky for Blaylock, especially if there was no credibility to their defense. He would have gotten a lot more time in a jury trial.

Why did they suspend 4years off his seven year bid?

Call me a hater but I really getting jealous and frustrated with the favorable sentences that these celebrity's and expired celebrity's be gettin. shyt ain't fair. I can't even get a favorable sentence when trying to appeal traffic tickets but these mothafukkas getting away with murder
