"Moon" starring Sam Rockwell

While watching Oblivion I got the distinct feeling that I had seen this movie before and realized I had, Moon. A much more emotionally moving and intense film that made me a Sam Rockwell fan.

Moon has that small budget but great acting and creative storytelling vibe I got with District 9. Nothing happened quite like you expected it to and there was that general feeling of filthy corporate scheming that made you feel for even "a$$hole" Sam. If you haven't checked it out yet, do so. shyt is piff.

plus the vintage clothing had you wondering what year and stuff it was occuring in so it has a slight timeless feel

When he started deteriorating and shyt while Sam was just despising his ass for being oblivious to the truth had dude straight aggressively pissed. I at the tantrums he threw during their first few encounters. He figured everything out right off the bat and was at Sam for not knowing wtf was going on.

Moon was screened as part of a lecture series at NASA's Space Center Houston, at the request of a professor there. “He'd been reading online that we'd done this film about Helium-3 mining and that's something that people at NASA are working on”, says Jones. “We did a Q&A afterward. They asked me why the base looked so sturdy, like a bunker, and not like the kind of stuff they are designing that they are going to transport with them. I said 'Well, in the future I assume you won't want to continue carrying everything with you, you'll want to use the resources on the moon to build things' and a woman in the audience raised her hand and said, 'I'm actually working on something called Mooncrete, which is concrete that mixes lunar regolith and ice water from the moon's polar caps.'”
