MORE AMERICANS ARE LIVING PAYCHECK-TO-PAYCHECK, EVEN THOSE EARNING MORE THAN $100,000.

You can't buy a new car for under 20k, a house in a decent city without spending 200k, gas and groceries are high too. No amount of bootstraps isn't fixing the wage gap and the cost of living in American
Well apparently the bootstraps that extend from Manhattan to Rochester can :mjlol:

How did you manage to make it to adulthood?

Where the did anyone say anything about 100k after taxes? The fact that making 100k doesn’t mean you’re taking home 100k needs to be explained to you… breh… do better

Ok let me try to explain this. If you making 100k the logical idea is it has to be AFTER TAXES correct because if your making up to 100k before taxes you damned sure ain't making 100k correct?!?:dahell: and what is the thread title, what does it fukking say?!?:stopitslime:

99% of salary discussions are about gross salary. There’s so many random things that affect the net take home, its generally accepted that these discussions are about pre-tax deductions. Almost everyone in this thread is talking about gross. Mortgage and rent applications ask for gross. You’re the outlier here.

because maybe you need to get rid of the outdated notion that $100k is a lot of money for every circumstance. a person making $100k could not afford to buy a home out here, a person making $100k with a kid will struggle to pay rent + utilities + buy food and pay the average $1500/month day care costs...a person making $100k with $30-50k in student loans is going to be check to check after bills....$100k is only good money in a med-low cost of living metro and you don't have any debt
Debt is a choice. Sounds like they make good money but make bad decisions:manny:
