This is insulting to both black Americans and African's. I'm critical of some black immigrants on certain issues, but this is a bad stereotype of somebody's old African auntie.

The parochial African that only cares about "working hard" and marriage is played out.

Even the Africans I know that are on that are a lot more worldly and cosmopolitan than the sentiments expressed in this video. Maybe it's a gender thing, cause there are too many African brehs that wife black American women for this to be true when it comes to African men.

I gotta agree with this. There aren't too many Africans migrating to the US like Hispanics are. And sec gen ones who are already here are Americanized and are marrying ADOS or other non continental diaspora. That stereotype is kinda outdated due to the diversity of thought amongst sec gen African Diaspora. Even going to some African night spots, you'll see African dudes bringing ADOS women in and tricking on them.

If you all got off the internet and actually attended something other than the night club you would know about movements and organizations that have always included all of us and fight together to seek justice and provide and aid and services for our community. I worked closely with an organization that was in support of a mayoral candidate in Chicago named amara enyia who is a Nigerian immigrant who put together a comprehensive plan to end predatory lending and targets the black community and stop the injustice being done by yellow light scamming , those being put on the boot list and parking tickets. She didnt win but lori lightfoot is literally replicating her plan and ideas right now. She has done more for chicago than any of these leaders yelling ados on social media. The list goes on. There are plenty of ADOS working in Texas prisons as well. Cacs that own those prisons love hiring black people to do those jobs to pacify the inmates.
