Above the fray.
1. When aframs were dealing with full blown jim crow, continental africans were in contact with afram leaders and coming to the USA to get educated at HBCU's?

False, African leaders weren't coming to America for education. Africans were but not the leaders. Most of them would stay local and if they did go anywhere, it was to London. Not America. What did happen some Africans went to school in America and many went back and yes, some even stayed. That said, they were going to school with other Blacks in HBCUs and Ivy League schools. You frame it as if it was just Africans as if other Blacks weren't also there. Some from the Northern states, West Coast, Islands, etc. This is where not knowing your history is a pain in the ass. That doesn't mean some didn't eventually become leaders, they weren't while there and no one in their family was before them as well. American schools weren't poppin like that in those days for the wealthy. Just the normal class who had an opportunity to study aboard.

2. africans and immigrants in general, came/come to the USA off the backs of gains the afram struggle, made possible?

This is that loaded bullshyt. No one done shyt off of the back of Black folks in America other than cacs. Even the thing you like to talk about that you feel opened the doors to America in the 60s really wasn't that impactful, especially with African immigration. America has always been an immigrant nation and always had an open-door policy for immigrants. Especially legal. To say you had anything to do with it is :duck: Africans to America was unexpected but when a lot of African economies started crashing in the 80's, many students who studied in America stayed and many set up shops. From there, once you got citizenship, you bring the others. It was a trickle-down effect. I know nikkas like to talk about the 60's and MLK and the civil rights laws but in reality, cacs never planned for nikkas to stay and aggressively changed the rules when nikkas would scheme how to stay. It was never planned.

The Caribbean nikkas know and been knowing how cacs always changing shyt up. It's disgraceful when I hear nikkas like Tariq Nasheed say shyt like we did this for ya'll. nikka stop, I used to be a part of numerous political committees. nikkas marched to be equal to cacs. Not for immigration. Now a part of the deal John Lewis signed was to not make a ruckus about Black issues. Part of the Mortrihan agreement. Still had nothing to do with immigration. It was Reagan that brought illegal immigrants in the first place. As they needed the workforce after the plan to destroy the black community took effect. Those immigrants as you can imagine, not Black. You need to know the truth about this shyt. That's why I keep saying, you just speaking personal opinion.

3. many black immigrants leach off afram culture under the fallacy that afram culture - leaching? This is some c00n shyt if I ever heard c00n shyt. Leeching, nikka what!

Leeching - a person who clings to another for personal gain, especially without giving anything in return, and usually with the implication or effect of exhausting the other's resources; parasite. - So you saying Black immigrants are leeching off of Black culture? Huh? How? nikka, did you just take this bullshyt out of Tariq Nasheed's ass? What the fukk nikkas gonna leech from these nikkas? What resources? nikka, Blacks only have 1% of the wealth in this country which is controlled by the baby boomers who are almost exclusively of multi-generation decent. And they are leeches? nikka WHAT!

Like I said, you say shyt that sounds good on the surface to you but makes no sense in reality. The rest was just nikka rambling. You weren't being coherent and you already said the most stupid shyt I've read yet so you lost a nikka on this one.

Breh, you need to stop listening to damn podcast just think for yourself for once.
The study of Black immigrant groups put out by the US CENSUS BUREAU laid out the facts about this stuff.
But maybe yters know more about Black immigration than the American govt., though.

Listen guys can we agree that Nigerians (i am one) can unfortunately be snobs and sadly and wrongfully look down on other people but african americans can also be extremely emotional and sensitive people who focus on race all the time?
And that there are good and bad Nigerians and there are good and bad African Americans?

Whites have always known how Africans feel about Black Americans. Now they're making sitcoms about it. I've been to plenty of social media sites like Reddit, Dcurbanmom and Mixedmartialarts for example and have seen whites gleefully admit how their African neighbor/coworker/cab driver hates our people. Your so called brothers and sisters from Africa will talk trash about us to anyone who will listen.

Its 5 writers, 3 white 2 black 1 is from the uk via Nigeria the other is what you all call ados. The woman who played will Smith mother on fresh prince.

This shyt makes you all narrow minded and gives you tunnel vision. You keying in on the Nigerian and making that the conduit to bang on other black people from other countries but ignoring there is another black woman who is so called ados on the show and 3 white people. Just like you all keyed in on botham jean brother and made that some means to bash Caribbean immigrants but ignored the judge, bailiff and others who were so called ados and did the same amount of c00ning

At the end of the day your premise is dumb, and divisive, Hollywood is still controlled by white European Jews and what you have to ask yourself is if the Nigerian wasnt willing to get on board with this rhetoric and the talk was more unifying would hollywood ok it? Likely not. Yall have to stop being the useful idiots smh

Of course I know there were other non-ados, blacks in those schools. Since topic was about an African, Im mainly talking about Africans, right now.

USA didn't want any non-anglos immigrating to the USA

The Hart–Celler Act of 1965 marked a radical break from U.S. immigration policies of the past. Since Congress restricted naturalized citizenship to "white persons" in 1790, laws restricted immigration from Asia and Africa, and gave preference to northern and western Europeans over southern and eastern Europeans.[3][4] Limiting immigration of non-northern Europeans, according to the U.S. Department of State Office of the Historian, was "to preserve the ideal of American homogeneity".[1]

The liberalization of immigration policy reflected in the 1965 legislation can be understood as part of the evolutionary trend in federal policy after World War II to end legal discrimination based on race and ethnicity — essentially, the immigration bill was mainly seen as an extension of the civil rights movement,

The Legacy of the 1965 Immigration Act

America was remade thanks to the bodies and blood of African Americans -- whites and others also participated in the civil rights movement, of course, but, primarily, it was African Americans. The civil rights struggle, exemplified by the March on Washington, had revolutionary consequences. Part of its effect was near-term changes like passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and the unsung but perhaps most effective anti-racist legislation of the period, the Immigration and Nationality Act Amendments of 1965, which, by allowing for immigration on a non-racial basis, put America on the path to being a majority-minority nation.

A Debt of Gratitude for the Civil Rights Movement | ACS

Until the 1960s, this famous inscription which is found on the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, the site where many immigrants arrived in America in the early 20th century, applied only to whites. But thanks to the country's Civil Rights Movement, among other factors, immigrants of all colors were welcomed into the country.

The civil rights struggle in the US gained attention worldwide and became "a stencil" for human rights revolution world wide, argues Thaufer al Deen. He says that when the movement gained momentum in the mid-20th century, there were two groups which were still lacking basic human rights: African-Americans and black South Africans.

"The Civil Rights Movement became the stencil by which the freedoms and the human rights of South Africans was achieved," he explains. "The stencil of Civil Rights Movement is to boycott economically. Through it, the tactic of economic sanctioning to force governments to recognize human rights began. Economic sanctions were used to enable others to achieve human rights."

"This concept of heightened awareness in the world to the Civil Rights Movement brought attention to what was happening to immigrants in US. People came from different parts of the world and settled here representing different cultures, beliefs and identities," he says.

"It caused an informal lobbying on the morality of federal legislators that this is an area that has to be looked at. Americans of different backgrounds, as well as those who were sympathetic or reacting politically because of the lobbying of their constituent groups fought so that the quota system was enlarged and different people were allowed come in."

Today, America's Muslims are enjoying the fruits of the civil rights struggle and its impact on the country's immigration laws. Were it not for the sacrifices of African-Americans and their supporters, it is highly unlikely that discrimination based on color and ethnicity would have changed in America. Many of the Muslims who came to study, work and later establish their families in this country could simply not have done so had US immigration laws retained their discriminatory nature.

Vernee Watson-Johnson is one of the writers on the show. She is so called ados. Just Google the writers on the show. And there are still 3 white writers you all not talking about.

And you missing the point of what I was saying about the bailiff and judge, point being, you see botham jean brother c00ning and want to make that the example for all Caribbean immigrants, but won't utilize that same tactic and use the judge and bailiff to shyt on all so called ados.

I been too thorough and consistent with my stance on black empowerment and african centered ideology for far too damn long on this site and that's fukked up you would question that because I won't participate with some divisive bullshyt like ados. I dont ride waves and because clowns on some let's make the black immigrant our target shyt dont mean I'm taking that course
I'm familiar with history and know that lane ends up nowhere. Furthermore this some bullshyt isolated to social media, nobody is feuding like this outside of it.

You started speaking those tariq talking points I never questioned you on that, that's fukked up bro
