Why do you guys want this show off of tv?

I want this show off of the air because its using the hook of "Introducing Middle American Cacs into Nigerian Culture" to mask Anti ADOS rhetoric.

Every fukking time this show tries to make a salient point about Nigerian culture they have done so by belittling ADOS people, ESPECIALLY highlighting that Nigerians dont think much of ADOS people ("what a coincidence, just LIKE CACS do! ")


Had Abosholas love interest been African American, Id excuse this because its obvious the narrative would be about proving her wrong. The Narrative would be how a Ados and Nigerian can bridge their cultural differences and both the ADOS man and Nigerian woman would be given a chance to show that these stereotypes are wrong/misguided.

But thats not the case. Because the other protagonist is a White man, the narrative will mainly be about how Aboshola is wrong in regards TO CACS not ADOS people. Even if her perception is shown to be wrong, do you think the show is gonna go the extra mile and show that she was also wrong about ADOS people to??

I sincerely fukking doubt it.

Even without all of the animosity and grievances against these people. The fact would still remain that we are NOT the same people. We as Afr'Ams are a unique ethnic group unto ourselves with a unique history, heritage, and culture. And we have a right to define our own boundaries when it comes to our spaces and culture. And even if we were to unite under a meta category that's larger than just AADOS, it would be Afro-Diasporans of the slave trade, not black skin.

NONE of these people treat us as one of their own unless it directly benefits them. You'll never see them reaching out to help us when we're in need.
