Fair enough. The same standard should apply to anyone using their own moral compass to affect other people's lives, right? Is this a serious question? Because those people try to affect other people's lives off of their faith of these fairy tales.

Well Seattle city council passed an ordinance that makes for gender neutral bathrooms because it believes that it is prejudicial in nature to persons who don't identify visually as a gender to have M and W bathrooms. That is a moral stance that many may not agree with. Please post an example.
What does this have to do with a morality this sounds more like an example of a right.Well Seattle city council passed an ordinance that makes for gender neutral bathrooms because it believes that it is prejudicial in nature to persons who don't identify visually as a gender to have M and W bathrooms. Why are some sources of belief acceptable, but others are not? If I get my beliefs and moral compass from Bearinstein bears books, or the Tao of Steve, or my chemistry and physics classes or from the book of Romans, why is one a worse choice than others?
Believing that something is a right begins in what they believe morally. As in, morally slavery is wrong and individuals should have freedom. What does this have to do with a morality this sounds more like an example of a right.
Not sure I agree with this they can correspond but that is not always the case.Believing that something is a right begins in what they believe morally. As in, morally slavery is wrong and individuals should have freedom.
Do you realise you live in a secular country?Fair enough. The same standard should apply to anyone using their own moral compass to affect other people's lives, right?
What? That rule only applies to single occupant restrooms. How is that morally bankrupt???Well Seattle city council passed an ordinance that makes for gender neutral bathrooms because it believes that it is prejudicial in nature to persons who don't identify visually as a gender to have M and W bathrooms. That is a moral stance that many may not agree with.

The Berenstain Bears would be a much better choice than the bible IMO, but any book that is being used by a significant group of people as a guide to influence the law of the land is going to be questioned.Well Seattle city council passed an ordinance that makes for gender neutral bathrooms because it believes that it is prejudicial in nature to persons who don't identify visually as a gender to have M and W bathrooms.
