American pie revived the coming of age sex comedy of the 70s and 80s, and one upped it with more crude sexyness.

TSAM spawned every apatow comedy after and blew up stillers film career. Tons of clones after.

Office space did the cult classic and public classic thing and has more quotables than any movie imaginable. The office comedy perfected.

There are more movies like TSAM than the other two. Office Space will stay the cult phenomenon, while American Pie remains legendary, but lost a lot of stature with the tired ass sequels.

i messed up my vote. i should have voted for pie but i clicked on TSAM instead, LOL. i skimmed and just voted for what i preferred

american pie probably influenced hollywood to try more dumb movies aimed at young dudes

i dont remember any TSAM clones

Easily There's Something About Mary...it launched the "R" comedy popularity and Ben Stiller's career post-Cable Guy....

Without TSAM, "R" comedies wouldn't be as big a draw as they are now...it paved the way

American Pie, easily.

It took the popular PG-13 teen movie demographic and pushed it to rated R. It stripped away much of the stereotypical innocence of teen movies but made it true ,somewhat, to real life experiences. Every teen party movie afterwards owes it's success to AP

And literally EVERYBODY from that movie had a better career afterwards.
