It looks like they are taking the apple approach to this type of stuff. They want it to happen automaticaly without the user needing to care about it.

Most of us here are tech savy so we'd like the extra control, but I think this soulution works best for the masses

But when apple does it .. it's bad and limits the customers freedom. But when M$ does it .. oh it's fine, this is how people want it to be .

Which one is it?

The Xbox One has no way to display controller battery levels. Kinect will not launch most games and apps unless you clearly speak their entire name, such as (no joke) "Redbox Instant by Verizon". There is no way to access a storage overview to see the details of what's installed and how much room you have left on your hard drive. You can't manually delete games, as the system decides for itself what you should and shouldn't keep on the console without any regard for your preference. Some games take up to two hours to install from the disc. When you connect the Xbox One to your tv service it completely takes over, making it impossible to watch anything without the system on. Language support is locked to the region you buy the system in, and is amazingly inadequate. A cold boot takes more than a minute.

:what:

I'm starting to regret pre ordering this shyt.

For starters, there's no fukking games for this shyt.

Buut but buuut dead rising 3 and ryse of rome :noah:

nikka those shyts are action adventure games that have no replay value.

Buut butt buttt manjin buu there is forza 5 bf4 2k14 fifa 14.

Those shyts are current gen ports. 2k14 and bf4 only have graphics. Forza 5 looks the same as forza 4 plus only has 200 cars :heh:

Should;ve waited a year and spent that $500 on a hooker on backpage :dsteezywin:

From the same "review" @DEAD7 posted

PlayStation 4 System Update

  • Enabled the use of controllers.
  • Fixed an issue where users were actually able to make sense of the Activity Feed, which led to them wanting to look at it from time to time.
  • New standby mode functionality: When the system detects that a user has finished Assassin's Creed 4 and Need For Speed Rivals, it automatically puts itself to sleep until the next worthwhile game comes out in spring of 2014.
  • Made room in the main interface for more blue and additional swirly things.
