It would save people a couple bucks if they already have a BT device, but wifi direct is better tech, I'm probably gonna go turtle beach this gen tho. Not at launch, so I hope they do bundle something

WiFi-Direct's main draw is bandwidth and range, of which both can be neglected as BT range is ample enough for the common household and crazy bandwidth isn't needed as you're just doing audio. It's more or less another MS Not Invented Here sort of thing (they tend to in-house against standards anyways) but they take their wireless more serious than others so I'm hoping they do more than just offer the standard peripherals and give incentives like less latency and whatnot.

I can voice control with my cable box now (comcast x1) and I can snap in using my input button or PIP. Aint shyt innovative about those features.
Bruh, WTF are you smoking on? Its truly sad, fukkING SAD that people go so hard to lie about features. Like you think all this lying is gonna make people not buy and then RAVE about Xbox One and its interface?
Here's what you are talking about, now everyone can see how lame you guys get

There is an app that you can use on your cell phone to use voice controls. It doesn't work flawlessly, but it works. Doesn't have any of the tech XB1 has, but this option does allow you to change channels with your voice. Just not smoothly, so if a struggle experience is what your looking for? Do this
AS for SNAP :stopitslime: You either don't know what SNAP on Xbox really is about, or you stupid. One or the other. Looking at "widgets" via your cable box is not the same or even comparable to SNAP on xbox and you should be slapped for acting like they similar. If it was, OK. But since its not, I have to wonder why you would even say such a thing? Well, who cares.. I've explained everything, time to move on to the next topic...
nah but ill use this extra $100 in my pocket tho :umad:

Well I'm happy for you. Times seem to be pretty tough in the Morgan household. If that $100 will help you eat for the week? I'm not gonna hate on that.
Its a shame your gaming experience will have to take a hit because of that. No dedicated servers, not even a clear understanding of what you will be getting
And you gotta pay for whatever that is too :scusthov:

I'll pray for you :blessed:

Them dollar general headset.. may as well say i don't have any :laff: :laff:

It better than nothing. :manny:
PS4 owners still gonna have the option to use [b}ANY[/b] Bluetooth or 3.5mm jack headset that they have lying around the house. while Xbox1 gotta go out & buy an overpriced proprietary headset or adapter from Microsoft or 3rd party.

Regardless as to how its done the functionality is the same. Is there really a big difference between speaking to a cellphone or speaking to a camera? If I can play video games and watch TV or Netflix at the same time now is that really different from this snap feature when I'm essentially doing the same thing? Yall coming up short trying to sell this shyt as innovative features.

If its BT or wifi direct, id go with wifi, I already have a not so pleasant BT experience on the ps3. Plus better is better, I'd rather not be stuck with BT when they start adding more apps and things on the xbox, more bandwidth will help with whatever else they have planned, plus I think smart glass will benefit from it also.

The only reason why BT will be a good thing over Wifi, is that we would be able to use shyt we already have. To me thats not a reason to have it over wifi direct (if you are talking about having it with WD then no, we might as well start the talk of adding IR), plus not having Bluetooth is a non issue if they include (like they should and one of the reasons that made live better than psn is everybody had mics) the mic.

:laff:Ps stans brag about getting a $1 headset with their system.

Xbox users will be enjoying a state of the art imagining/voice control system that costs more than the ps4 itself :wow:
Yea, we'll just be enjoying a state of the art gaming system. Have fun with your Snitchbox.
