They're playing for different stakes...

This dubbs team is basically the only thing standing in between Bron and a legitimate iron clad claim at GOAT status... I'm as big of a hater of dude as you'll find (in a sporting sense), but I ain't afraid to say he's scaring the fukk outta me right now...The way he's playing right now it looks like he's gonna have an insane extended prime, it just feels like this is a perfect set up for him to rattle off 2-3 more chips and fukk around pass kareem on the scoring list...At that point his resume is gonna look just as impressive as mjs to me (or more) ...And it looks fukking doable :lupe:

Durant needs this one and a couple more to put himself into that ratified air of all-time greats...Bron is already there...Durant HAS to string together some chips or him going to GS is gonna just look like a big p*ssy move... I have no doubt KD is personally gonna feel more pressure... We're at a point where the two are stealing rings from each other...Bron already took one from him, this one is gonna go a long way towards determining if he's gonna be looked at in history as something of a true rival and peer to Bron...Or simply just a footnote to his greatness...Think of the difference between how Kobe and Duncan or magic and bird are compared to each other, as opposed to how Jordan and Malone/Barkley are...

Please KD come thru :mjcry:

I don't understand why Lebron gets so much hate for going 3-4 in the finals against these teams:

Spurs:58-24
Mavs:57-25
Thunder:47-19(58 win projection)
Spurs:58-24
Spurs:62-20
GS:67-15
GS:73-9
GS:67-15-undecided

Lebron should have a 2-5 record at best.

Kobe faced 3 teams in the finals that won 54 games or less:

Phili:56-26
Indiana:56-26
New Jersey:52-30
Detroit:54-28
Boston:66-16
Orlando:59-23
Boston:50-32

Kobe should have a 6-1 finals record

Funny thing is,Lebron gets rippped for his 2011 finals performance against the mavs, and rightfully so.However, the same mavs team sweeped a 32 yr old K.Bryant led laker team out of the playoffs.

2011 record:
Miami:58-24
Lakers:57-25
Dalla:57-25

Playoffs vs 2011 mavs:
Kobe:23.3p/3r/2.5a/1.8s/46%/23%/80%
James:17.2p/7.2r/6.8a/1.7s/48%/32%/60%

Lebron and Kobe both underperformed. It's just that LA lost in the WC semifinals as opposed to the finals.

LeBron ain't got no pressure. He loses, the media will still suck him off, make excuses for him, and continue the Jordan comparison next year.

The Lebron/Jordan talk reminds me of the manning/brady talk when manning had 1 ring and brady had 3. Media couldnt wait to crown manning as the goat.Manning would consistently shyt the bed in the playoffs but as soon as he got to the super bowl vs the saints, all the goat talk ramped up 100-fold and he's bypassing brady and Montana. Then he lost. Dude was never on bradys level when it came to the playoffs/super bowl but that was always ignored.

Same thing with lebron. Media wants to crown him so badly. I don't know how many shytty playoff/finals performances and losses he needs for the media to stop the silliness.

He will never be on Jordan's level.

Bad playoff and finals performances?
The man just dropped 35/8/8 on 13 of 18 shooting in a series clinching game.

Bbbbuut it was only the ECF right?
Bbbuuut it was only the Celtics right?
Bbbbuuuut it wasn't the Finals right?

It almost stopped last year with Curry's unanimous mvp and golden state stealing the spot light and bron came back angry not because it was threatening his basketball career but his legacy. He went back to cleveland to build and own a part of that dynasty and legacy. What gsw and durant did was a clear and direct assault on the rest if his prime.

I wouldve guessed bron would top out at about 5 rings before a legit superteam emerged and after this year all of these squads are looking to tool up in the next 2 years to stop them both

KD

LeBron can say he went up against a legit all time great team if he loses(after already beatin one last yr) :ehh:

KD got no excuses
Funny how the Warriors are an all time great team only when it's convenient

In the finals vs Bron they're an all time great team. Last round they weren't shyt because they can only beat injury riddled teams

Why is there even pressure on KD when Curry is the better player and true leader of the team?

KD came to Goldenstate to avoid pressure.

Nah. It can't slide off that easily.

Thatd be 5 finals LOSSES for Bron. That'd be a major talking point against his legacy.

Again this is assuming they care abojt any of this
Did play on the Miami LeBron's and the Cleveland LeBron's? Or the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers?

LeBron 'legacy' cemented for a while now, it's been built over and put a die cast steel house on after the shyt last year. Some of y'all posters get so lame when it comes to the NBA.

It would just knock Lebron down in the MJ/Kareem/Kobe talk

KD still hasn't earned a right to the discussion. He needs one so that he's not another Karl Malone, Charles Barkley or Reggie Miller in NBA history.
Are you like 12?

Bron is playing with house money. What he did last year was so epic he doesn't really have to win a big game again. The Cavs 1st title win was the cap to his career imo. Now if he can beat this all time great team that added a prime mvp player in KD then Bron deserves to sit beside Jordan.
Nah Bron is Bron. He's not another MJ, and he's not the best NBA player, but one of the top 5 best ever, despite what you may read on here.
