Memphis and Magic are good different teams. Sucks Ja and Paolo are hurt. Outside of those teams and maybe the nuggets…

Nick Wright said this a little while ago, teams have realized how effective just putting up a bunch of shots from 3 point range due to it being 50% more than a 2 point shot. And he mentioned how he talked to Daryl Morey at the Sloan conference and asked what about the entertainment aspect of it and Morey said it isn't necessarily his job to worry about that. I've said this too, teams don't necessarily care about the entertainment factor because they are trying to win games, damn if it "looks" good. As long as the game is the way it is teams will continue to chuck up 50 or 60 3 pointers a night until the league decides to do something about it, if they even can. It leads to less nuance and variety in the game in my opinion, but hey the league just got a huge sum of money in the most recent rights deal so maybe they aren't worried as much right now.

A lot of folks never even loved the sport...they loved Mike or his offspring. If you could go back in time and bring Mike into todays league with no changes to the gameplay or product a lot of these complaints would disappear. People truly believe slow ass isoball brick fests with 73-69 scores and nikkas that had no business being in the league are not only peak basketball but peak entertainment because they grew up on it and the guy that they like, love, or stan was around.

This is only partly true… but at the end of the day it’s mostly a deflection to validate the current product…. Aesthetics when it comes to sports can be purely subjective… but having rules in place to make the sport very competitive is a different conversation

Facts. I hate seeing dudes just jack up 3s unless it's Steph since he can actually make all them crazy azz shots.

College ball is even worse. Dudes can't break anyone down off the dribble. Just running around in circles and draining the shot clock to jack up a heavily contested 3.

A bit of this, but let's take the 7 sec or less suns for example. they shot a lot of 3s for the time, but they also had amare dunking on people's heads every night. it was more fun.

The 3 game looks great when there is also ball/man movement. Problem is too many iso or just jacking up a 3 once you hit half court. It doesn’t look good
