Lost 50 pounds last year, put on another 10 because my bike got stolen and it was too cold to ride anyway and I wasnt hitting the gym and I was eating like shyt again.

But I'm back in the gym. Back on my bike, and conscious of what I eat. :blessed:

Sadly that usually doesn't matter because it's caloric intake that packs on the pounds. If you overeat, even if you're eating healthy foods you will gain weight.


It's hard to overeat on healthy foods though. Try eating 1000 calories of boneless skinless chicken breasts

It just a lifestyle thing. The people who gain it back never fully adjust their lifestyles :manny:

EDIT: These articles mislead the public. They frame it like you can never really lose weight and keep it off.


It's also our jobs. Back in the older labor days folks didn't have to take time and exercise, that shyt wasn't heard of. Now we sitting in chairs 5 days a week, then we go home and sit in front of the TV. So we REALLY gotta be active. What people forget though is that you don't necessarily have to the gym and do the same routine

Boxing, Basketball, Swimming, hiking, cycling. Those are all activities that help you maintain your weight

Unhealthy food is so much easier to attain than healthy. It's also much cheaper. It's more about your eating habits than exercising.

This is both right and wrong, most restaurants these days will show the calories and macros. They also offer alternatives. Say you losing weight and invited to work dinner meeting. Just order some chicken, most restaurants got that

You need to change what you eat entirely for real change
If carbs are you weakness cut them
If you got a craving for sweets eat fruit
Pizza and French fries eat cauliflower pizza and sweet potato fries

No, he’s right. People see the $ menu at a fast food restaurant cheaper than buying produce for the week

Fast food is on every corner and that dollar menu is the most unhealthy easy to come by food you can get.

I also say have one cheat meal a week, that shyt definitely will help you sustain a cut/diet. It gives you something to look forward to in regards to indulgence.
