but most aren't doing all that... you know damn well most people living at home aren't paying a big chunk of the rent and utilities... not half... and probably not even a thirdI see no issue with it at all.
As long as everyone isn't cramped in the space, you're contributing to the bills, and everyone is ok with the situation, no judgements from me. It has always been weird to me how us black folk have this stigma with family shacking up.
Only in AMERICA is this an absurdity.
For the entire rest of the world this is actually the ENCOURAGED norm.
I never see anyone talking bad about how Hispanics and Indians and Asians got multiple generations under the same roof. How come you guys don't chastise them?
It's always a white person and black (American) person issue.
but if you just in there cause you got a shytty job and you can't afford to leave... you're a piece of shyt... burdening your parents cause you're a failure AND you not doing a damn thing to get from under that situation either.. just waiting around for them to die so you can take over
again... they CONTRIBUTE.. everybody in that asian, hispanic home is working.. multiple jobs sometimes... cooking, cleaning, and most importantly... paying bills together and saving moneyOnly in AMERICA is this an absurdity.
