that coach is an a$$hole. punking off someone who can't defend himself out of fear of very serious repercussion it a bytch move. one reaction and it would be "bye bye scholarship"
i'd like to see that coach try that on a player who aint going to school on a scholarship and pays his own way thru school, who has no hopes of making NBA, and only plays for fun. then the kid blasting him in the mouth .

My junior high basketball coach made kids cry all the time in practice, and if you did something stupid in a game, he would let your ass know on the spot.
I remember a guy missing a layup in practice and he just stopped everything and said, "You know what, drop down and do push ups til I get tired"
Another time, he was doing some instruction on some shyt while we watched from the sideline. We were sitting down, one kid wasn't paying attention and was fukking around and started giggling about something. Coach, threw a pinpoint 2 handed chest pass and nailed buddy in the face... knocked his glasses off and everything.
He was the best coach/teacher I ever had though.
My HS coach would bytch a lot and get in guys face, but the players grew numb to his antics and usually just tuned him out.
