Peppers deserves just as much criticism as Burnett if he told him to get down. nikka was done putting in effort. fukk running down the field to try and make a block, I mean the games over anyways, right? Wrong. :beli:

I agree, hes the captain of that D and his guy listened to him. horrible idea, Wilson was the only one left and Pep could have cleared him out with one motion. awful

Ugh didn't we learn anything from Dallas vs Detroit? When dude picked up a fumble only to fumble it back to Detroit and give them another chance? Granted, that dude made up for his mistake with the game saving sack, but everyone and their mama was saying he should have went down. Burnett did the right thing and McCarthy was a p*ssy.

that was different. that was in the last 2 minutes.

in this game, its 5 mins left and burnett had open field

Two completely different situations. Dude from Dallas tried to pick it up in a crowd of people. Burnett was wide the fukk open.

Not to mention if dude from Dallas just fell on the ball the game would have been over, not the case in yesterdays game.

if green bay was scared he was gon fumble, burnett could have ran down the sideline and put the ball on his left side

He didn't "screw them out of" a damn thing. He is not an offensive player, it's not his damn job to move the chains. That's on Arod and the offense, them not getting a field goal is on them, that's THEIR jobs.

Plus if you were watching you see that several other players were telling him to go down.
So if a QB throws a duck in the air and the corner makes a play on it, the receiver shouldn't even attempt to bat the ball away to prevent the interception say "it's not my job to play defense :manny:" what are you saying??? :whosmans:

The entire team just stopped playing. shyt is amazing. It's an incredible collapse. I'd be sick if my team lost a championship game that way.

no seahawk was near him, at the worst dude picks up 10-15 yards and goes out of bounds, and at the worst you punt and pin seattle farther back.

you only drop down when its under a minute
especially on the road?

:snoop:

compare a defensive lineman picking up a fumble being surrounded, to a shifty ass cb intercepting with no one around him

In hindsight, yea he should have tried to return it, but you're lying to yourself if you can say you thought that at the moment it happened. My thought was, that was the nail in the coffin. Plenty of other shyt had to happen for that Seattle come back to be complete. I'd put this, very last on the list if it even deserves to be on it.

If Sean Taylor can get stripped by Mo Clarett anything can happen. He got down it was the smart play, his team had a 98% chance of winning the game at that time.

there was no one around him, he could have ran for 5-10 yards by the time someone got near to him give himself up.
