So if a QB throws a duck in the air and the corner makes a play on it, the receiver shouldn't even attempt to bat the ball away to prevent the interception say "it's not my job to play defense :manny:" what are you saying??? :whosmans:
A WRs job is to fight for the ball, thus it would still be his job.

A defensive players job is to stop the opposing offense and to give the ball back to his offense, he did that. The fact that GB did not pick up a first down is not his fault.

Plus, if you're a relatively young player and a 13 year vet, 8x probowler, former defensive player of the year ect., is telling you to go down, you don't go down? Get the fukk out of here. Had he fumbled you same nikkas would be trashing him calling him a moron for not sliding.

It's just a microcosm of how the game was managed though.

Morgan had a bunch of room to get into SEA territory. And Crosby has a big leg to 58 yards.
exactly... nikkas have no understanding of football or life

you beat a nikka down till he's dead... cause he might get back up and muster the strength to beat your fukking ass.. there is no such thing as mercy

it's 5 damn minutes... and two touchdowns... have we never seen this happen before?? is this not the nfl?

he could have got to fg territory easy... or maybe even score... could have ran to the sideline so if anything happened, the ball would go out of bounds

the fact remains... the entire packers team stopped trying to stomp them... they figured they had it... minimize mistakes... run out the clock.... lets go to the super bowl

bet they'll never make that mistake again

Peppers deserves just as much criticism as Burnett if he told him to get down. nikka was done putting in effort. fukk running down the field to try and make a block, I mean the games over anyways, right? Wrong. :beli:
fukk him.... there's a guy in the gif, all the way to the right.. who stops playing and waves to him to lay down

that's the coaches fault... 3 players don't all get the same idea in an instant... the coach was telling them, if we get the ball, shut it down.. you can tell by how scared they played offense after that

remember when they beat the Bears and Eagles by scoring 50 something points?

That's the approach McCarthy has to take. Run up the score like they did in 2011.

That's even worse, looking at another angle. He's got a TD there, those linemen aren't catching him if he cuts it back to the right.

:snoop:
its indefensible from this angle not to try to get better field position at that point in the game. he goes to the right hes got dude who is next to him and gb guy in the middle of the field to wall him off and pick up mad yards. he keeps going left hes got 54 of seattle engaged already with a guy blocking, and 58 ready to seal off 60 of seattle and has plenty of room where it looks like hes one on one with a fat ass lineman on the left of the screen 15 yards downfield. sliding is utterly laughable, and a complete lack of in game awareness

shyt brady and them been doing it all of life.... routinely keeping in starters while up 45 points and shyt.. still passing for td's

there's no such thing as running up the score... stop me and i won't score.. i'm not gonna relax and chill cause you MIGHT not come back... determining percentages and possibilities... motherfukker play the game at 150% until you hear that whistle

There's really no defense for the hate. He runs and fumbles that ball then HE becomes the scapegoat. Think about that dumbass Cowboys player who got the fumble on Stafford then lost it trying to run.

shyt, at least Lawrence was able to make up for his mistake by coming up with the game clinching sack. The play I think of with this exact scenario is when Marlon McCree fumbled away a critical interception on 4th down for the Chargers in the 06 Divisional Round against the Patriots and Reche Caldwell recovered for the Patriots, keeping them in the game. If McCree bats the ball down, it's game over. If he gets down on the ground, it's game over. If he doesn't play hot potato with the ball, it's game over. Instead, he helped blow the Chargers 14-2 season

What's especially ironic is how Marty Schottenhimer specifically told his team to get down on the ground if they were to make a play like that one which would seal the game, and he went against everything his coach (and common sense) told him. There was no way he would have scored on that play, yet he kept trying to make a play when there was no reason to and nothing there. He paid for it dearly

So you'll have to forgive me for thinking that a linebacker getting down on the ground and playing it safe with what he thought was the game sealing interception isn't the reason that the Packers lost the game. How about the fact that the Packers had the ball inside the Seahawks 5 yard line twice and came away with only 6 points? How about the fact that they settled for a total of 5 field goals, gave up 2 touchdowns in the last 3 minutes of regulation and 3 in the last 6 minutes of the game including overtime?
