Wearing Lions gear when it wasn't cool
I don't know if it's jokes in here but the seeming sentiment is why women never feel/felt comfortable bringing forth accusations in the first place. We live in a word where Ray Charles, James brown, miles Davis, Ike turner got hit for domestic violence charges. R. Kelly, Bill Cosby and others for these sexual charges. I'm not concerning myself primarily with other races because I'm black nor am I stereotyping us as black men. My point is this, maybe it's unfair to judge men's actions of yesteryear with today's rules and standards but that is ultimately where we are. I stand in solidarity with black men because I don't like seeing these types of news articles but no group is above reproach and that maybe, just maybe, our black men fit in squarely with the culture of that time. Remember that magic Johnson used to host fukk parties, so again that maybe, just maybe, men in power back then, moreso than now, would flaunt their power and view women as a possession as they would a car, house, etc, thus, being more open about their true nature. I'm a man, I love fat asses and big titties like most men but do I have to fukking proclaim that fact to you or to the world? If you aren't trying to shoot your shot, shut the fukk up and shoot it in a respectful way. I believe that for the men accused in this, it was more about power and prestige on some don't you know I'm _________ and maybe not about the sex per se but that doesn't mean that it is right. However, where have you all been, my worker orientations at work skim over everything except for sexual harassment. We break out youtube videos, pamphlets and in person presentations, different world. We would do well to leave our misogynistic tendencies, latent or blatant, in the shadows of our past. In reality, most women don't like the attention, they merely tolerate it. The age of being tolerant is over, move accordingly.
