You could say it was possibly the child of a daughter who was adopted by his wife,who maybe he had no attachment too. Who he was barely around for since he's had a consistent acting career. But if that was the case why was he still taking such an active role in raising the grandaughter,unless he was grooming her the whole time
Either he had a close relationship with the daughter,or didn't have one which makes him spending so much time with the grandaughter even weirder.
At the same time,hard to take the word of her murderer who is the one who really gave this allegation legs.

They definitely slid the Kevin Spacey allegations under the rug.
