Speaking of Reptile, I caught a couple of episodes of the 90's MK series, Conquest. Reptile is heavily featured in the series and they even had more of his race represented. Anyway, they incorporated some of the elements of his story from Conquest into the game. I think the series is the first time his realm of Zaterra was mentioned by name.
A couple of other things of note that came from Mortal Kombat Conquest that was introduced into the games:
- Konquest mode
- Noob Saibot having oily blood or being made of this oily substance.
- Reiko being Shao Kahn's general
-Quan Chi and Shang Tsung forming an alliance. There's an entire episode based on this.
-Takeda. Takeda is actually a character in the series.
-Three warriors: Kung Lao, Taja, and Siro protect the city of Zhu Zin and Earth Realm from Outworld. This sounds eerily similar to the brand new MK1 story in which Kung Lao and Raiden protect the city of Fengjian from Outworld.

would be cool if they made reptile humanoid again, and can transform into a lizard like in the older games
What do you mean "again" hes been a humanoid since SM. And was that in 4.
