i actually tried one of the moves I saw in Pit Fighter (overhead elbow to the stomach) in a IRL fight as a young youth
Was a terrible idea, but luckily only a minor setback as I quickly adjusted and ended up beating the shyt out of the dude.

I say that to say... fukk mortal kombat. overrated trash.

They are both games under the MIDWAY umbrella

They was experiementing with using real people as in game sprites and it lead to Mortal Kombat
But before there was a Mortal Kombat, we all played this shyt like "Is this what the year 2000 is gonna be like "
