Mortal Kombat X: Fightpad or Fightstick?

I know this seems like a very late thread for this game but I just got my Mad Catz TE2+ for SFV and am getting really good with it. I've had MKX since it came out and only played it the first month or two with a regular ps4 controller before i got bored with the game and somewhat sucked at it. I'm just curious what you MKX players that still play use....I've heard fightpad is the overwhelming go to for this game. True?

MK is a five button game so a pad should be fine as opposed to the six buttons of SFV. I play MK on the stock Xbone with no problems.

I actually like to go pad for MKX and fightstick for SFV. Mortal Kombat's controls seem designed with the pad in mind. Plus I don't get all messed up when switching back and forth between the games.

Was actually thinking of getting the MKX fightpad the other day, but people say it has huge issues with the directional button input, and not worth the purchase. Sucks cause that's the only fightpad available for Xbone.
