All those nikkaz would get bodied by "real battle rappers" on a URL stage.

It wouldn't even be close :mjlol:

Spittin bars on a beat and battle rappin are 2 different things
no. actual battle rapping is usually rapping on a beat or beats. that new wave with everyone acapella = Def Poetry jam. when you dont have to have an actual flow for some. thats a help for some of those dudes. there's millions of dudes that can rhyme words on paper that dont flow on a beat. they never sounded like anything because its that combination of flow/ and crazy lines. we give this new era battle rapping with no beat a pass because its like another branch on the tree of hiphop. but lets be clear. you're supposed to be able to actually RAP too. not just put crazy lines together.

one last time. these young boys dont want no problems with these old head vets. not today and da.. sure not yesterday. not only are the bars to much. the voices are to rough, rugged to deal with. these light voiced dudes nowadays sounding like preteens would get destroyed.

I think we all get that hating Nas and Kendrick is part of ur "persona" but I'm sad for how bad ur real life is for you to be so devoted to this character that you portray it, ad NAuSeam, multiple times a day.

You must truly dislike yourself and all kidding aside I hope you find happiness before you go to a place far darker than where you already are.
:dead: @ a fakket thinkin "I ran like a cheetah" is seein the tap Miller Genuine Drafts shyt at all. This sooner you fukk boys realize it the better for hip hop

This cat need to just shutup when it comes to anything having to do with hip hop...nikka logic is so ass backwards it embarassing..smh

Looks like ya boy Mos fell ALL THE WAY BACK. Like I said, dude is a bytch.

They would have to have some time to spar and get used to that format but they could do it. I think that's what em has been doing recently since he was such a big fan of the current day battles and how different they are from when he was on the come up.

All the industry rappers that have tried to come back into battle rap have been trash.

Canibus was trash :mjlol:

Cassidy trash :mjlol:

Reed Dollaz :mjlol:

Bis was completely unprepared for that format...had he gotten acclaimated to that environment during his down time he wouldn't have come off like that...a battle in his day was WAYYYYY different than this masterpiece theater, acapella shyt.

Never saw the battle with Reed

I thought Budden held his own...had he been doing that instead of Reality TV he would probably have a nice little body count.

This shyt is like a Boxer trying to go and do MMA, a fighter is a fighter but once you switch up the format/ground rules and how the performances are judged you gonna need to spar a little bit. Either that or keep it mainstream rappers vs. mainstream rappers until they the two sects can kinda blend together.

i stand by what i said. i watch the battle rappers too. but lets keep it 150. dem old heads that turned into real rappers. could catch a nucca on the corner and rap to a beat or a capella. but even then they were rapping to a rhythm . a lot o these battle rappers that are winning dont even do that. which is why when you hear their actual music is no where near as good as you would hope for it to be.

That battlin on a beat ish is weak this aint no 106 n park bs. But I grew up in da Smack Era aka Loaded Lux, Mook vs Jae Millz etc so dont mind me..
exactly. thats all you know. i agree that 106 n park was extremely light weight. the smack etc goes in with the battling. i like it for what it is. BUT, the best battling is when you have two mcees that also have a nice flow with or without a beat no. This is what i'm talking about. your favorite rapper from the 90's, early 00's, was battle rapping back in the day and killing mcees. you cant say that about todays battle rappers these dudes cant make legit songs to save their lives. part of the reason is, their flow isnt all that. some dont have a flow at all because they're so use to battling with no music and not having to have any sort of rhythm going in their head. thats why i call it battle poetry. still some ill lines that have to get their due. but thats what it really is. the difference between rhyming poetry on stage and rapping on stage is the music and rhythm you have when you rap.

I been fukkin wit Smack/URL since the beginning and this is something a lot of these young battle fans don't understand or can't comprehend. These battle nikkas these days ain't even technically rappin. It's more performance based and u can control the pace of ya bars since there ain't no beat. Just write a million bars and spit em at ur opponent without ever having to worry about stayin in the pocket or on key.
