They're fukking 19-0 in the NBA. Besides the 76ers, every team in the league is a PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM. How the hell you gonna talk about strength of schedule regarding the longest winning streak to start a season in the history of sports. STFU :beli:

Aren't the schedules made way before the games are played, and way before defensive rankings and stats come out?
They beat the Clips twice, Rockets, Memphis twice, Bulls, and Toronto....all playoff teams, so I don't think their schedule was soft.
Ur right but.. Aside bulls.. All those teams are/were fukking up.. Clips and Toronto games.. I call bullshyt.... But yes.. They were suppose to have competition..

But right now.. Their schedule is easy.. They won't face many top seeded until Christmas

7 games against decent teams in the first 20 is absolutely an easy schedule.

Is the warriors schedule easier than any other defending champion in the last 10 years? Or any elite team that also had an equal opportunity to start 19-0?

Idk, dont have that data on hand. Point being the streak is impressive but let's not pretend that it hasnt also been an easy schedule when they objectively rank 28th in sos.

It doesn't matter how easy it is. The only way this streak isn't impressive is if they played the 6ers 19 straight times. And even, beating any team 19 straight times is still impressive. It doesn't matter how you slice it. Winning your first 19 games in an NBA season is god damn impressive, no matter who your competition is. And it's not like they're squeaking by in most games. A lot of these games are straight massacres

Yeah, a lot of teams have just fallen off a cliff this year. People don't realize that the teams the warriors are facing on this road team have the kind of young, athleticism that gives them problems.

However, 7/19 decent teams is actually a fair proportion when you think about it. The SOS is going to be worst for the teams that have to face the Warriors :JJ:

Bububut the Warriors have the easiest schedule. @G-Zeus :mjpls:

Looking at the general Coli logic, the only Warriors wins that count are ones where the other team is 100% healthy, playing well, and are named Cavs, Spurs, or Thunder. (Clippers were once on this vaunted list, but since they lost twice, they don't count anymore). Also, if the Cavs or Thunder lose to the Warriors, there is the backup nullification of bad coaching due to Maccabi ball or Billy ball, similar in fashion to Doc ball.

Any other win was due to refs, injuries, or Warriors are expected to win, so they don't count anyways.

Also, just some random SOS numbers from : NBA Relative Percent Index - 2015-2016 - National Basketball Association - ESPN

Cavs - .485
Warriors - .485
Thunder - .484
Spurs - .469

I guess they really did give the Warriors a MUCH easier schedule vs. other top contenders to make sure they had an easier path before the big Christmas day games :troll:

So now the Clippers, Grizzlies, Rockets and Pelicans are only "decent" teams? You weren't saying that shyt when you called the Rockets title contenders last season.

There you go again with that agenda.
WCF appearance means yes they were contenders by default. One season has nothing to do with the next and none of those teams are doing all that well this year. Clips and Grizz have been medicore, Rockets and Pelicans have been awful.

Youre always so desperate to try to come at me that you forget common sense and end up looking really dumb. :coffee: Just another example.

No it doesn't. You can still make the WCF and not be a contender. Contender means to me you have a realistic chance of winning a title - the Rockets never did. Barring one of the most implausible (well not really considering CP was involved) comebacks in playoff history, the Rockets would've lost in five or six games to the Clippers.

It's got A LOT to do with the previous season, especially since the Clippers, Rockets and Pelicans were projected to be better than they were last season. So now the Warriors schedule is the easiest simply because the 'playoff' teams they do play aren't playing well?

:dead:

You're so wrapped up in this agenda against GS, you can't see sense.

Here are all the defensive rankings of the teams they've faced so far.

"29th, 28th, 29th, 13th, 19th, 23rd, 30th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 19th, 23rd, 27th, 26th, 30th. Tonight they will face at #3 Utah."

Strength of schedule for Golden State: 28

And gm vs utah comes down 2 last shot....

What do you mean by you "call bullshyt" on those games? And if those other teams are fukking up, how does that rule their schedule as being easy?
But right now.. Their schedule is easy.. They won't face many top seeded until Christmas
So what this all comes down to is the fact they haven't played the Cavs, Spurs or Thunder yet? Therefore any game, no matter if it's on the road or/and on a back to back, or against the a team that might be hitting some form, or against a team that is completely healthy, or against a team like the Raptors, Pacers, Clippers, Grizzlies who have records near-equal to the top seeds - doesn't matter at all - you're just simply ruling them in the flux of their "easy" schedule?
