I saw this one with my wife, and she has like 7 dr’s cause she had a stem cell transplant. I threaten her every time now I’m gonna ask her drs if they believe in god, lol. The best part of the episode is towards the end, she gives dr now a half ass apology, just because she expected one back, not only was dr now not playing that day, he wouldn’t even accept her apology on some “I’m a doctor, I don’t care about what comes out your mouth, I have an oath, and don’t really care about the trash you saying”. Dr now is not to be trifled abouy.

I'm for universal healthcare but there seriously needs to be checks in place that prevents people like this from using the system beyond just getting back to a normal weight. Like if they do not make a certain level of improvement over a period of time, they need to start paying a tax. There needs to be a fat tax or start paying out of pocket. They can get back in the system once they drop below a certain threshold.

A person with a food addiction has to change their entire thoughts on food. It can’t be “enjoyable” or had in “moderation”. It’s simply for nourishment and fuel. THATS the hardest part. It’s just some foods people that overeat can never have again because they don’t have control. The same with alcoholics. Most aren’t able to just have a little wine or just one drink, they have to abstain for life.
