nah man, its an evil song. the message its sending is...questionable :patrice:and i'm not surprised it was banned from radio during its time. its not just the fact he beat her, its the fukked up psychology of these battered females that make this song dark

He hit me and it felt like a kiss
He hit me and I knew he loved me
If he didn't care for me,
I could have never made him mad
But he hit me and I was glad

the fact it was inspired by a real-life singer (little eva) and her relationship with her boyfriend just made it all the more dark and fukked up

:snoop:

bit of trivia: this was amy winehouse's favorite song...and you know what happened to her

:russ: that would be that crackwhore's favorite song.

All that other shyt I really don't care for. bytches get their asses beat by their men everyday b.
These hoes ain't loyal.

Now Im not for all that abuse towards women and hitting them n shyt, fuuck all that mane. If a bytch cheat, find a new bytch. Guard your heart, and don't be surprised by any of these females actions. :yeshrug:

'He Hit Me (and It Felt Like a Kiss)' is a good song with not at all perfect intentions. That Amy Winehouse liked it doesn't really say anything about her as a drug addict and more that she liked gloomy-as-hell pop music. Part of the appeal is the Phil Spector production. Carole King, who co-wrote the song with her husband, Gerry Goffin, regrets ever having written the song. I don't blame her, it's a really tough to handle take on domestic violence.

But never mind that guys: these hoes ain't loyal. Am I cool already? Can I be part of the circle jerk?

Also Phil Spector was convicted of second-degree murder for shooting Lana Clarkson. So that the dude behind many of the girl groups of the 1960s is also a convicted murderer is pretty demonic, I'd say.

shyt I almost forgot about that :ohhh:

and I mentioned amy winehouse, not just because of the drugs, but because she had an abusive, volatile relationship with a dude she called the love of her life. this song details the fukked up thought process of women who stay with & love abusive men
