NWTS isn't a HORRIBLE album, i just doesn't show much of ANY growth. Drake's STILL sapping (sing rapping) about the SAME shyt. His subject matter is still the exact same thing it was on So Far Gone, when you can turn a song called "Wu-Tang Forever" into a simp anthem, then its time to go back to the inspirational drawing board...
GFID I thought was actually dope as far as Ross albums. you dont expect "growth" from an artist like Ross. He's a larger than life blaxploitation laughable cocaine boss/pimp. Thats ALL he'll ever be
Yeezus was dissapointing as all hell because you expect even Experimental/weirdo Kanye to give you a classic. With all his ghostwriters, producers, artists, and last minute help from Rick Rubin the musical guru you STILL come up with something as mediocre as Yeezus?
Kanye can do better and we ALL know it. You can even here flashes of it here and there on this very album, which makes it more frustrating. It's like listening to a genius put the core of himself in his work, and then top it wilth as much loud, overproduced, musical diarhea as possible.
